Husqvarna Automower® 308V is a wire-free robotic mower for lawns up to 800 m², delivering effortless and highly reliable lawn care. The wire-free installation requires Wi-Fi coverage across the full lawn, and with our included satellite-based technology, the virtual installation is flexible and robust.Requirements:
- Wi-Fi internet coverage across the full lawn area is needed. It is easy to check your Wi-Fi coverage, and there are a variety of options to solve this if your coverage is not sufficient.
- The Automower® Connect app. Available for free on the AppStore and Google Play.
Everything starts in the Automower® Connect app, where you create individual and customisable work areas, along with temporary stay-out zones. These can be easily adjusted later to suit garden projects or changes to your lawn’s layout throughout the season.
The built-in camera uses AI to detect and identify objects on the lawn, ensuring the mower avoids collisions. In addition, the AI vision technology combines with satellite navigation, providing full lawn coverage, as long as it sees grass, even in areas with weak satellite signals.
The selectable mowing patterns feature enables you to choose from a striped, checkerboard or triangle pattern on your lawn, and gives an area capacity of 800 m². Or, for a carpet-like finish, choose the irregular pattern mode, which offers a 500 m² area capacity.
How does the satellite technology work?
To achieve centimetre-level accuracy, the mower has to receive positioning data, which is provided via Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost. This requires Wi-Fi coverage over the entire lawn area and offers an excellent position accuracy, typically better than 5 cm. You can check the Wi-Fi coverage in your garden using your smartphone. You can improve your Wi-Fi signal by moving the router closer to the garden-facing wall or using network accessories like a Wi-Fi range extender or Mesh Wi-Fi system. Alternatively, we offer accessories which can be purchased and installed by a Husqvarna dealer, such as the Automower® Connect kit, which enables cellular connectivity on the mower. Or the Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station, which is a stand-alone solution that requires no internet connection and provides even higher mower position accuracy (around 2-3 cm). Customisable lawn maintenance thanks to wire free installation with virtual boundaries. The virtual boundaries are easy to install and adjust in the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app, and you can create stay-out zones and multiple work areas with different settings.
AI object detection & avoidance
Utilising AI and the in-built camera, the mower identifies what’s ahead and continues mowing if it’s grass while avoiding detected objects. That way, the risk of both unexpected stops and damage to objects in the garden, and the mower, is eliminated.
Uninterrupted mowing with AI vision technology
Satellite navigation and AI vision technology combine to ensure full lawn coverage even in areas with weak satellite signals. This allows the mower to work smoothly across any garden layout, as long as it sees grass, ensuring no patch is left uncut.
Selectable mowing patterns
Choose stripes, checkerboard or a triangle pattern on your lawn with systematic mowing. This feature enables the mower to run in parallel lines to create a visual pattern. Or for a carpet-like finish, there is also the option of irregular mowing.
Automower® Zone Control
Automower® Zone Control allows you to easily create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. It gives you more control over the lawn so you can apply different mowing patterns, schedules and cutting heights to each area or prevent the robotic lawn mower from mowing in selected areas.
Automower® Connect app
Enjoy the convenience of remote control from your smartphone with the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. Among other things, you can manage and monitor your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower, change settings, and get easy access to information and tips that make lawn maintenance carefree. Cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity available, dependent on model.
Automatic passage handling - PATENTED
Husqvarna Automower® automatically senses narrow passages and finds its way even through the smallest passages. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid unpleasant tracks.
GPS-assisted navigation - PATENTED
An onboard GPS system creates a map of the garden, including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. Husqvarna Automower® will then register which parts of the garden it has covered and adjusts its mowing pattern accordingly. This will ensure optimised lawn coverage and an excellent cutting result.
Secondary Area
If your lawn has two areas that are not connected with a passage for your mower, for example the front and back lawn, then you are able to create a secondary area in your installation. Once installed, you need to manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will mow for a selected time or until the battery is empty.
Weather timer
Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, meaning that Husqvarna Automower® will maximise its mowing time during periods of strong grass growth. In sunny or dry weather, or late in the season, the mower will spend less time mowing, which decreases wear on lawn and mower.
Spiral cutting
Automatic cutting functionality to even out grass height differences. Cutting disc sensors detect whether the mower enters an area with higher grass and switches cutting technology to systematic spiral pattern.
Easy cleaning
Easily wash the exterior and underneath of the robotic mower with a garden hose. Removable top cover and body for easy cleaning and reachability everywhere.
GeoFence
If the mower is moved outside the predefined area the mower alarm will sound, minimising the risk of theft. If the mower is within Wi-Fi range then you will also receive a notification via the app. Simply use the Automower® Connect app to define your mower's GeoFence area.
Low Carbon Emissions
By choosing this product, you can feel confident that it produces lower carbon emissions during active use compared to a traditional petrol product. This battery-driven product does not emit any CO₂ during use while still providing the power and quality that you expect from a Husqvarna product. However, it’s important to note that CO₂ emissions are generated during other stages of the product´s lifecycle, such as production, charging and end-of-life disposal.

Easily make software updates yourself, via the Automower® Connect app, to enable new features and updates.
Smart Home integration
Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control and status updates. This applies to all Husqvarna Automower® models with cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you execute voice commands such as start, stop and park, and get status updates from your mower by simply asking your voice assistant. With Automower® Connect you can also integrate your robotic mower with your Gardena Smart System and let mowing and watering work together.
Profiles
Create several profiles with tailored schedules and settings for different locations or seasons. This makes it easier to share the mower between numerous locations and to adjust the mowing based on weather and grass growth.
Automower® Smart Routines
Use Automower® Smart Routines in the Automower® Connect app to enhance your lawn care experience. Whether you want to park the mower automatically when the weather forecast shows heavy rain or frost, or be mindful of nocturnal animals by adjusting the mowing schedule to only mow during the day, with Smart Routines, you can seamlessly manage routines via the app.
Frost guard
