How much oil should you add to petrol?
Husqvarna normally recommends 2 % two-stroke oil (1:50) for its chainsaws. This equals 20 ml of oil per litre of petrol, or 100 ml for 5 litres. Use the calculator to work out the oil quantity and always follow the mixing ratio in your machine’s operator’s manual.

Select 2.5 % or 3 % only if specified for your machine. The quantity refers to petrol before adding oil. Ratios above are shown as oil:petrol. The calculator is for petrol to be mixed with two-stroke oil, not premixed fuel.

Husqvarna?s fully synthetic and biodegradable (64% acc OESD301B) XP Synthetic 2-stroke oil is developed for tough use with high loads and engine speed. The low smoke oil gives extremely good lubrication,a cleaner engine and less coating on the piston and in the crankcase compared to competing oils.
